Crossy road secret characters spooky8/19/2023 ![]() There are rumors that you will find way more using the Leprechaun than any other mascot.The Leprechaun is the only new UK/IRE mascot that does not encounter rainy days during play.Notably, it's nearly as small as the Flea.The Leprechaun is one of the few mascots specifically based on Ireland.Below is a video that shows how to unlock it. A three leaf clover will make a rustling sound while a four leaf clover will make a soft 'ding.' The player must collect a four leaf clover and by the next run, the Leprechaun is unlocked. In the run, the player will see three leaf clovers littering the area, and rarely, four leaf clovers. The player must play as any mascot from the UK & Ireland Update. The Leprechaun can't be unlocked by the Prize Machine because it is a secret mascot, but by a special method. This article/section may contain spoilers. When he picks up coins, which emit white particles, he will make triumph noises. He will also make Rainbows appear, littering the area as obstacles which he can jump through. The Leprechaun will make incomprehensible sounds like "Babadabada" occasionally and when killed, he will yell as if in agony. Upon gameplay, the standard grasslands are replaced with the UK & Ireland Terrain. It is short with a green hat, green torso with a brown belt and golden belt buckle, green pants, brown shoes, an orange beard and orange hair. The symbol on the red envelopes needed to unlock Cai Shen is the symbol for the Chinese currency, the yuan.The Leprechaun is based off the creature of Irish folklore with the same name.Cai Shen is one of the three mascots from Crossy Road that also appear in Shooty Skies, The other two being the Chicken and Hipster Whale.The envelopes needed to unlock him seem to never appear on roads or lilypads.Cai Shen is the only Humanoid mascot to have eyes.The random phrase Cai Shen periodically shouts during the run roughly translates to "Congratulations on being rich" in Chinese.Cai Shen is the fifteenth character to resemble some type of humanoid.The Fortune Chicken is also most probably named so because of its 'good fortune' or ability to pick up these envelopes.It is likely that this is why Cai Shen, the god of wealth, is unlocked after achieving a certain number of these. Red envelopes are gifted in Chinese and other Asian societies as a monetary gift during holidays and special occasions.Unlock CAI SHEN Secret Character - Crossy Road iOS App Chinese New Year Trivia After achieving the required number of envelopes, the character will unlock after death. Unlike the pink flowers found while playing as Forget-Me-Not, these can be collected throughout multiple rounds of playing. Using either the Fortune Chicken, The Three Deities (Android only), Fire Monkey, Xi, New Year's Doll, Hot pot,Wintersweet or Chinese Monster the player must collect 20 red envelopes which can be found littered throughout the lanes. If he nearly gets crushed by a truck or car, he will yell "过分!" which means "Idiot!" or "哎呦啊!" meaning "Oh, lord!". The character itself plays on the Chinese New Year map, occasionally yelling "恭喜發財 (Gong Xi Fa Cai)", meaning "I wish you good fortune" in Chinese. When holding down on the screen as if to prepare a jump, Cai Shen will begin to spin in a clockwise rotation for a period of time. The character itself resembles a small humanoid with a large beard and a red and gold gown, donning an intricate royal-looking hat with gold. Cai Shen's name is often invoked during the Chinese New Year celebrations, hence the addition of this character in the Chinese New Year update. The Crossy Road mascot Cai Shen resembles the Chinese God of wealth and prosperity, 财神 (Cai Shen).
